I’m afraid there was no magic again for me in Kitzbuhel this weekend, it’s not been the best season, just a handful of races to be really proud of…I’ll get my excuses out now!
To be honest I’ve just been digging myself into a deeper hole as each race goes on and now I am more [...]

Raced London Tri this weekend.
I tried something different (not sure why in reflection) and it didn’t really worked out but I enjoyed the weekend at my favourite race of the year.
I had a great swim which is nice, I got round without getting beaten up and I had plenty of gas to play with!
Onto the [...]

I’m currently on day no.4 of probably the hardest block I have done this year. Â I guess, it’s a “s%$t lets keep this season moving after a bit of a howler at the Europeans. Â I spoke to Ben and Joel after the last race and we decided to really press on for 10 days leading [...]

We have arrived in Athlone, Ireland for the European Champs. Â It’s nice to do a race close to home, with a bit less pressure then when we race on the World stage. Â It’s also cool seeing all the British Age Groupers here, it only happens 1/2 times a year for me. Â So I’m sure the [...]

That’s a big few races done and done. I’m pretty happy with my result in Des Moines today. I wanted to make up for a bad result in Madrid and thankfully I redeemed myself.
‘My team’ sent me the analysis from Madrid. I found it really useful and soon found out that the problem was I [...]

It’s been a great week over here in Des Moines.
Our awesome homestay hosts Kerrie and Jason have gone well overboard to make us feel very welcome.  I feel so relaxed leading into the weekend that I could be racing in at home! It’s certainly a far cry from the usual waiting game based in a [...]

I’m on the flight from Madrid over to Des Moines after racing the World Champs Series.
It didn’t go great to be honest, It was far from the result I was expecting. I didn’t see the move and the race moved away before my very eyes! Quite frustrating really but major fault by me for not [...]
