London World Champs Series

Notice how you didn’t get a race report straight after Paris…
It didn’t go to plan! Â A combination of getting screwed over by the race official and our rival teams and tiredness heading into the race from that 10day block! It hurts having a bad race….even if you can justify it. Â We were meant to take the 3rd slot on the pontoon next to the best teams however the slot we choose was reserved for the U23’s?! So by the time we realised this we were forced to the other end of the pontoon, the longest line to the first buoy and as well as that…we were so pissed off that we were no longer focused on the task….Race over for us. Â We were all 2nd pack and we ran ok but of course because of the 10 day block not able to access the top speed.
Riding down to the race start at 6:00am however with the team. Â We looked up and saw the sunrise blazing through Eiffel Tower structure and realised triathlon is really starting to get somewhere…What a venue!
This weekend however to be honest there are bigger fish to fry. Â There is the Pike Alistair Brownlee, The Marlin Javier Gomez, the Barracuda Jan Frodeno, The Great White Shark Bevan Docherty and the Stickleback Stu Hayes…I’m not going to list them all, there are too many.
It’s going to be hard, really hard and I need a good result like in Des Moines and I need to be aggressive in these next 3 races that count if I want my top 10 end of year ranking.
Tu Quoi Tu Quoi!
