Been a bit quiet!

That’s because my head is well and truly down this week…after that nightmare journey back it put me in panic mode before Kitzbuhel World Championship Series! Wanted to get back into my training as quick as possible, start my aerobic work and basically train straight through Kitzbuhel with one day easy before to give myself a chance! Â It will be very hit and miss, I have raced very well racing like this and also badly so looking forward to it! Â It was a fun weekend of training at home with my Local Tri Club who basically taught a lot of what I know! Â On Friday evening I went open water swimming…easily non wetsuit(I hate the cold)…in England!
Saturday and Sunday were big days…solid swim session, 4hr smash up on the bikes and an hour run with my buddy Ben Baldeli, my old french teacher:) and on sunday a 2hr run, 1.5hr solid swim and 2hrs hilly bike
There are some pics from the weekends training below…Thats Mark Matthews getting ready to ride into the lake on his bike and start swimming (he spent 1hr taking his bike apart afterwards to drain the water out!)

There was heaps of people racing in Austria for the Ironman this year, congratulations to team mate Dejan Patrcevic who finished a brilliant 8th, with a swift 2:52 run.  Also to everyone from Cambridge Tri who raced! Cesare, Matt, Kate and Ivan! Thats a long way to go, just to finish is amazing!
