11th Southerns Cross Country

Had a nice start back after a 2 year break from the Cross Country today.
I hate this course, it’s muddy as hell and that just doesn’t suit me at all! The organisers always insist it has to be 15km over a stupidly hilly and muddy course!
I was happy with my position today, it’s all moving forward nicely. Â The result doesn’t sound much but for someone who is rubbish at Cross Country a 11th Bodes really well for my season.
I was really high up on the first lap and really comfortable as well, but on the drag at the start of the 2nd lap I really started to hurt and I felt Lanzarote training camp still in my legs.
